The archive of the Polish Radio includes 1562 broadcasts related to the Polish Pope, including 800 hours of recordings documenting John Paul II's pilgrimages (to Poland as well as worldwide); about 240 hours of broadcasts dedicated to John Paul II; about 100 hours of news magazines containing comments on the events related to the pontificate of John Paul II.

The Institute of National Remembrance

The Tertio Millennio Institute
The Tertio Millennio Institute was founded in 1995 by Dominican Maciej Zięba OP, and its foundation was connected with the announcement of the Apostolic Letter Tertio Millennio Adveniente by John Paul II (1994). The Institute has unique notations of witnesses to the pontificate of John Paul II, a valuable audiovisual resource that is presented on the JP2online portal.

The Centre for the Thought of John Paul II
The Centre for the Thought of John Paul II is a Warsaw institution of culture, a place of meetings and dialogue, a centre where we bring the Pope's teachings closer. The Centre's collection includes nearly 300 films presenting memories of the Polish Pope (about 700 hours of recordings). The interviews were recorded in 2007-2018 and constitute a valuable source of knowledge about John Paul II.

Archdiocesan Archive of Warsaw
The Archives of Archdiocese of Warsaw include correspondence from the former Secretariat of the Primate of Poland, covering the time of service of both the Primate of the Millennium and the Primate Józef Glemp. From this resource, documentation of the organization of the first three John Paul II's pilgrimages to Poland in the 1980s was incorporated into the project, including correspondence between the government and the Church.a kościelną.

The monastery in Niepokalanów
The monastery in Niepokalanów The Order owns and holds the rights to more than 20,000 negative tapes containing photographs by Br. Cyprian Grodzki. The photographs are a record of the most important events in the life of the Church in Poland from the 60s of the 20th century to the end of the 80s of the 20th century, including those with the participation of Karol Wojtyła/John Paul II (about 2000 photographs).

The Chronicle of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
The Chronicle of the Sacred Heart of Jesus 1960-78 video recordings made by Fr Adam Włoch from the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus are unique historical materials showing breakthrough events in the history of the Church in Poland, such as the celebration of the Millennium of Polish Baptism or the processions from Wawel to Skałka in Cracow. Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum)
The Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (the Angelicum) is a university with a centuries-long tradition, established and continued to this day by the Dominican Order. It conducts studies in Theology, Philosophy, Canon Law and Social Sciences. After being ordained a priest, young Karol Wojtyla came to Rome to continue his theological studies at this university and prepare his doctoral thesis.
