Fr Waldemar Chrostowski - (born 1951 in Chrostów) - professor of theology, biblicist, consultant of the Polish Bishops' Council for Religious Dialogue, full professor at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, chairman of the Association of Polish Biblicists, involved in Catholic-Jewish dialogue. Until 1998, co-chairman of the Polish Council of Christians and Jews. Member of the Committee of Theological Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Author of over 2000 scientific and popular science publications. He mainly deals with the Old Testament.
