Fr. Marian Jakubiec (1929-2014) - professor of catechism at the Pontifical Academy of Theology. Specialist in the field of catechetics, lecturer at the Pontifical Academy of Theology in Cracow (today the Pontifical University of John Paul II). He combined his scientific and didactic work with pastoral ministry.
At the beginning of his priestly path he was a vicar in the parish in Niegowici, where Fr Karol Wojtyla had served for a year.
