Bishop Grzegorz Ryś (born in 1964 in Kraków) - habilitated doctor specializing in the history of the Church, rector of the Major Seminary of Krakow Archdiocese in 2007–2011, auxiliary bishop of Kraków in 2011–2017, metropolitan archbishop of Lodz since 2017.
