Short biographical note:
Stanisław Rybicki (1929-2011) - graduate of the University of Science and Technology in Krakow, environmental engineer, scout. In 1979 he obtained his doctoral degree.
He met Karol Wojtyła in 1951, when he was a vicar in St. Florian's Church. He belonged to the "Family” group, i.e. the first group of young people gathered around Father Wojtyla. He participated in retreats, lectures, trips in his student days and later. Together with his wife and sons, he kept in touch with Bishop Wojtyla and later Pope John Paul II.
