Short biographical note:
Bishop Alojzy Orszulik (1928-2019) - auxiliary bishop of Siedlce in 1989-1992, diocesan bishop of Łowicz in 1992-2004, since 2004 senior bishop of Łowicz diocese. Knight of the Order of the White Eagle.
Academic lecturer (canon law), in 1968-1993 headed the press office at the Polish Episcopal Secretariat, participated in talks with the Polish People's Republic authorities concerning the state - church relations, took part in talks in Magdalenka and in the Round Table talks.
1974-1994 consultant to the Pontifical Council for Social Communications.
