Short biographical note:
Maria Janina Maja Komorowska-Tyszkiewicz (born 1937 in Warsaw) - a theatre and film actress. She comes from the family of Komorowski counts of the Korczak coat of arms.
Performed in films by the most eminent directors, e.g. Andrzej Wajda and Krzysztof Kieślowski. A dozen or so films, which are the fruit of many years of cooperation with Krzysztof Zanussi, have passed to the canon of Polish cinema. She helped the interned during martial law in Poland (she was a member of the Primate Council for Aid to the Interned and their Families).
For many years she taught at the Theatre Academy in Warsaw
She took part in meetings with John Paul II in Poland and Rome, presented his poetry several times during his pilgrimages to his homeland.
