Short biographical note:
Prof. Jack Bemporad – a rabbi and advocate of interreligious dialogue, director of the Center for Interreligious Understanding in New Jersey, which he founded in 1992. Professor and director emeritus of the John Paul II Center for Interreligious Studies. In 2016, Rabbi Bemporad became the first individual to receive an honorary Doctor of Theology degree from the Angelicum since its establishment in 1577. He is the author and editor of numerous books, scholarly works, and articles.
